And that is one reason why President Trump wants Greenland, to prevent China's expansion. And Greenland has iron ore, lead, zinc, diamonds, uranium, oil, and rare earth elements. And how is it President Trumps fault for China's leases to 40 ports around the world? They have been doing it for YEARS!

Denmark subsidizes Greenland to the tune of $500 Million annually with a population of 56,000. We don’t need another welfare state. Negotiate for natural resources.

MCPO Roger Collins - It is only a welfare state because Denmark is not exploiting it's resources or strategic position. The fact is we could save Billions if we bought it via Defense spending for base leases there as well as natural resources, greatly shorten our logistical chain to Europe, etc.
