If they are not responsible enough to own firearms they should not vote !

Can't blame them for trying. They are the ones getting killed at the schools.

SFC Michael D. - No we cannot blame them for trying however a better solution to gun violence at schools is to protect our schools like we do banks. I am willing to bet that if it was easier to steel a million and ride off into the sunset than get fame killing people, these nut jobs would.

MAJ Byron Oyler - Oh don't get me wrong. I don't agree with them. I just don't blame them for the way they feel. And I totally agree with what you're saying. Even though, I still have the picture in my head of that school cop standing outside while the shooting was going on. I'm all about have the metal detectors in place at every school and a cop at every entrance. We keep letting our kids get killed off, who is going to replace us.

Interesting to me that the same people who think taking guns away from law-abiding citizens and forcing them to buy a "license" for a Constitutional right is fine are the same ones who say that any effort to verify voter rolls or confirm citizenship at polling places is a poll tax and unconstitutional.
These guys literally put both in the same sentence - automatic voter registration and misc gun control measures.
Not to give the crooked politicians any bright ideas, but why do you suppose automatic voter registration is part of this conversation? From a guy from Broward County, of all places. Voter fraud, perhaps? The system is getting better and better at identifying dead people voting, so replace them with young people who traditionally under vote.

This proposal is a nonstarter. I guess they need to raise the age of voting and joining the military. Those 18 year olds in uniform are not responsible enough to carry a high capacity, fully automatic firearm. (Sarcasm added)
