That uniform owes its allegiance to the constitution and no candidate or political party. It's sad to see our uniform cheapened and dishonored by someone who surely knew better. She could/should have given her coin and well wishes as a civilian.

I do not think President Eisenhower voted in an election until 1952 as President of Columbia University. We should not bring politics, religion (unless a chaplain:), or most other personal opinions as officers. I won't even pray as a nurse with my patients that hold the same religious beliefs. I just can't, I am there to take care of sick people how they want to be taken care of without regard to religion, race, sexual orientation, etc.

It should not end well, MAJ Byron Oyler, but I’m speculating that not much will happen.

Somebody in the service mentored her! Of course she is responsible for her own actions and should feel the repricissuons. As for my opening statement, it would be worth it to Command Survey her unit to see if there is a systemic problem, in order to help prevent further infractions. Thank you all for your service.

Frankly, CSM Darieus ZaGara, she was responsible the moment she took the oath of office, whether she was mentored or not.

Sir, I feel it is conduct unbecoming an officer.

I agree totally, MAJ Byron Oyler. It’s conduct unbecoming at the very least. But as MCPO Roger Collins stated, a butt chewing will be all. Simply speculation on my part.
