So they want more gun control, less punishment for crimes, and no death penalty. All the things that will increase crime.

My basic problem with Criminologists is that nearly all of them never actually worked in the criminal justice system. They are just academics who study the work of others. They have no practical experience in the subject they are supposedly experts in. It’s odd to me that we give them any credence at all. I mean have you ever seen someone who was called an expert at plumbing and yet never actually used a pipe wrench, fixed a leaky faucet, or ever repiped a house?
Anytime, I hear the opinion of a Criminologist, I almost always discount it. I have found their opinions don’t coincide with what 30+ years of experience has taught me.
