Hell Paso is correct. However the majority of the on post housing was new construction when I left there 2 years ago tomorrow. Bliss has "on post" housing that is actually off post, but it was all renovated 2011 and 2012. Housing Bliss is actually quite nice. City though is like living on an island. A desert island with nothing to do. At least if you have a family. Single guys are ok. There are plenty of bars and clubs. Plus they can go over around the college. The amenities on Bliss are one of the best in the Army. It has an outdoor strip mall with Buffalo Wild Wings, Denny's, Under Armor store and even a cigar shop.
