Very true, at least Men and woman that have served have a license to make good natured insults of a Military service nature. They paid their dues and earned the privilege to be listened to. of course I know the Air Force is on the top of the heap but I can take a joke. Besides there is plenty of material there. My brothers and sisters in the Air Force and other services can make those jokes but I don't want to hear it from people that never served in the Armed Forces if its making fun of ANY of us, Then We all band together !

When in Air Defense, our unofficial motto was 'shoot them all down and sort them out on the ground'. :)

Hahaha That's funny.
Where ever I run into Vets, it always degenerates into eating crayons and "chair force" jokes. We do it in class all the time. Fellow classmates see the incoming and outgoing fire and assume we don't get along well. Quite the opposite actually, but the non-Vets don't quite get it.
A couple of them tried to get in on the slaughter numerous times. I don't snap very often but I dressed 2 of them down, informing them that they hadn't earned the right to play our game. Everyone else got the message directly. The 2 Marines and I laughed at the silly civilians. I apologized for my direct assault, but explained why the outsiders didn't get to play along. Never have had to correct anyone since!
So, back to snacks! Got crayons? LMOA

TSgt David L. - Once in a while I let my wife look at what's on RP, she just shakes her head.
