My parents live in Kerrville, which has a hometown VA. I have lived in Austin and Round Rock. Both Booming and growing. Met my husband when he was stationed at Fort Hood, he does not like Texas. So we won't be settling there unless we happen to retire and the job he needs is there. I love Texas, great sites to see, the FOOD is AMAZING and such diversity, people are friendly, and of course military friendly.

Correct SPC Britanny *Winnie* Balthaser. Your parents live in Gods country. I've had deer leases in Kerrville. The people are some of the friendliest I've ever met. One of my sons lives in Austin. He loves to keep it weird. lol Even if I didn't like it here,I would have to melt and pour my wife out of Texas, before she would leave. I'd love to live in the Hill Country. Thank you for your comment.

Texas is a great place for Veterans in general. They treat vets very well here!

They do now, but it wasn't always that way. I have no problems at my VA. I've been going there for 15 years and no major problems.
