This right here is why we end up with leaks to the press. We have a formal process for whistleblowers in the intel community and a person followed that process. Now the POTUS is blocking the legal process when the statute seems quite clear. How serious is this issue? Who knows and that's the point.
He'll probably lose this is court but so far this POTUS has done anything and everything to delay and avoid the checks and balances laid out in our Constitution and statutes. Based on the flaunting of the law and any oversight done by this administration I wouldn't be surprised if we find that records were destroyed when he is no longer POTUS.

Indeed POTUS is wreck-less in regards to the Constitution and rule of law. He is persistently reinforced by Congress Republicans. Me thinks that the only way to end this debacle is to vote him out of office.

If the complaint is exaggerated and not worth investigating further then why not just show it and make the Dems look like fools? Much like his taxes. The more you hide stuff the more likely it’ll be perceived as a cover up.
