Sure I remember, MAJ Ken Landgren, Texas A&M beat Auburn in 1986 in the Cotton Bowl. What has that game got to do with your own comment and my response? Absolutely nothing. It’s simply you trying to “get back” at me. Unnecessary.
I simply don’t subscribe to your comment about “A&M has a young team”. (By the way, Kellen Mond is a junior and having started almost his entire freshman year, has two full years of experience.) I don’t subscribe to rebuilding a team. I don’t subscribe to it for Auburn either or any other team for that matter. In this day and age, young college players are declaring for the NFL draft almost as soon as they get to college. Coaches know what they face. It’s up to them to recruit in sufficient numbers, and create depth and experience by allowing the young players time on the field. Coaches won’t be around long if they keep waiting for a young team to mature.
If you wish to continue to dredge up irrelevant statistics from 33 years ago, knock yourself out.

Auburn is amazing this year LTC Stephen C.! I think they and LSU will make our SEC look good by Bowl time. I am hopeful my Mizzou hangs on to get an invite to a good one....

Missouri’s got a great season going! I still can’t believe y’all lost the season opener to Wyoming. Mizzou has done great since though! I think Missouri could win the rest of their games, except maybe Georgia. Good luck!

Honestly LTC Stephen C., I thought the season was going to be frustrating,
with us ending up at the bottom of the standings, with all the turnovers we had in that Wyoming game. Thank heavens that team went back into the locker room and our decent one showed up the next week! I hope to see several SEC teams doing well in the end....we shall see!
