Trump and GOP Melt Down Amid Ukraine Scandal, Impeachment: A Closer Look

I'm a pragmatic. Lowest black and Hispanic unemployment ever, 50 year record low women's unemployment, and rapidly rising wages do more for the working poor and working class people than all the government programs ever. He has overturned decades of bad trade deals and practices, US business is booming. He's jerk, I could never stand his TV show, but he's our jerk and he's doing great. My president isn't "The One," whatever the hell that means. He's a hired man to keep the country functioning well, and Trump excels on that. Too bad we can't just close his twitter account, you know?

Jack, Greg is taken in by almost every single Trump "scandal". He cannot stand Trump so every one of this things confirms his bias. I, like you, agree with Greg on some things but on Trump he simply has no regulator.

Capt Gregory Prickett - Whether you like him or not, don't under estimate the man. He has survived more attempts to remove him from office than any president I've lived through and the Democrats and a number of old school Republicans hate him for no other reason than he threatens their power structure. He got elected by playing the media and the Democratic Party like a drum. This last episode is a last gasp attempt to unseat him and I am not sure that he didn't allow it to leak to weed out the last of the leakers/partisans in the FBI and Intelligence community and expose just how corrupt the last administration had been.
I didn't dislike the Obama administration because of their politics, which I disagreed, but because he turned the Federal Government into Chicago. The Progressives are so scared of losing their position as gatekeepers of culture, they are willing to put up with any corruption as long as their side wins. That ain't Democracy.
