I find it ironic and amusing that National Farmers day coincides with National motorcycle ride day. It reminded me of life events that I have been through.

Small towns having harvest parties on main street with bands , food and fun. Is was not unusual for motorcycle riders to show up for the festivities as well. This is how some relationships come about.

The farming families tried to curtail their daughters emotions. Even tried to stifle them by pushing other boys they knew into the mix. This ploy has never worked ! After all, the daughter has seized upon shiny chrome to take them away from home. I am sure somewhere it will happen again......
