This vote has nothing to do with "condemning" anything. It is what Napoleon would call a "demonstration" - showing the House what the sense of the Senate is and that the path to 67 Senators is not realistic. Not so much trying to influence the House's conduct in regards to the Impeachment Inquiry, which would be improper and pointless, but rather to let those Reps who are weighing the consequences of their vote in favor will be a Quixotic one - all of the consequences with no prospect of actually removing the President from office.

Of course you know, I don't agree with you but I do respect your right to say exactly what you feel. It's part of our first amendment rights from the Constitution. Often certain people forget thay on this site. Peace!

SSG Robert Mark Odom - Which part do you not agree with? I am trying to convey my sense of the motives behind the chess moves here.

RepubliCons that actually follows the rules, it's as if we're in the twilight zone. And we'll see how long they stand their ground until Fuhrer Trump goes on a twitter rant and attacks them for having morals

From all appearances this may have been what forced Nancy to finally put up a vote on the House floor regarding the inquiry and formal procedures to be followed. Your report says Graham's resolution was submitted last week when the House was still insisting that its kangaroo court was legit. I'm still waiting to see what is contained in the House bill, have to pass that to see what's in it as well?
