LTC Stephen B. - At this point I no longer know if I should be taking you seriously or if you are just trolling.

Ferrous Cranus is utterly impervious to reason, persuasion and new ideas, and when engaged in battle he will not yield an inch in his position regardless of its hopelessness. Though his thrusts are decisively repulsed, his arguments crushed in every detail and his defenses demolished beyond repair he will remount the same attack again and again with only the slightest variation in tactics. Sometimes out of pure frustration Philosopher will try...

We're now up to 5th-hand information. He's citing Taylor, who wasn't on the call, never talked to Trump, and heard from a friend who heard from a friend that someone else heard another person thought it was about Biden.
And we STILL have the transcript.

LTC Stephen B. And the transcript is extremely damning for Trump. I know Trump likes to claim that it is "perfect" but that is just for the faithful who apparently don't take the time to read it.
What Kent is discussing is what was happening in the state department and that they were all told that they had to work with Giuliani and the messaging on why the aid was being withheld. Trump himself stated in the transcript that they were to coordinate with Giuliani and Giuliani's admission was that he was working for the personal interests of the president, not of the US government.
Right off the bat there is direct evidence that the POTUS is using the power and agencies of government to pursue personal political interests through Giuliani. A huge, no no. It's basically article II of the Nixon impeachment.

The transcript proves there was no quid-pro-quo. Complete exoneration. Not sure what alternate universe you live in these days.

LTC Stephen B. - The transcript of the call, which isn't a transcript but a summary, does not help Trump. The direct testimony of the people involved, who have personal knowledge of the incidents, do not help Trump. The only way to be OK with this is to condone the use of the Office of the President to go after political rivals, and to use the tools of bribery and extortion in furtherance of those personal aims.
What will it take for you to have a problem with corruption at that level?
