LTC David Brown - correct, they fired him because he wasn't investigation corruption, he was covering it up. Not extortion.

You see, the difference is that Biden was pursuing stated US and Western European policy to eliminate corruption in the Ukraine. Trump was seeking a personal advantage in an election by encouraging the interference by a foreign power.

They know having him removed is the only way he doesn't get reelected, which is why this isn't an impeachment, it's a coup disguised as an impeachment. The pro-impeachment conspirators are all traitors in my book.

Absolutely. The past two days have truly shown they don't have anything and they are truly afraid of loosing their power base. If they are going to run President Trump through the mud, I think the rest of them deserve the same treatment.

It would only be a coup if the conspiracy was widespread enough that removal from office was assured. In this I can't wait to hear the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court on live TV start to ask questions during the Senate Trial. Thats when the Democrats start to go down in flames. Like others, I am going to be ROFLMAO! The impeachment so far does not even rise to the standard of a minor civil case as far as rules of evidence is concerned.

There is no crime, john. They created this coup, err impeachment inquiry to find a crime. They set this up following the November general election in 2016 and have been fishing for a crime with no bait, or fake worms without a single bite. Hatred is not a reason to impeach a President. The right may have disagreed and said some things about obama, but to set up a kangaroo court to have him removed from office... the left would be rabidly frothing from the mouth by now. Tell me I'm wrong. You can't. You put BO through this kangaroo court and there would be hell to pay 24/7/365. The leftist national media would run it constantly or until a real civil war resulted.

Well, first, this isn't from a reliable source, IJR is classified as "right-wing biased" and "These media sources are moderately to strongly biased toward conservative causes through story selection and/or political affiliation. They may utilize strong loaded words (wording that attempts to influence an audience by using appeal to emotion or stereotypes), publish misleading reports and omit reporting of information that may damage conservative causes. Some sources in this category may be untrustworthy."

Second, bribery and extortion are the proper crimes to cite, and bribery is an explicit ground for impeachment.

Third, anyone using the word "coup" to describe the impeachment process is doing far worse, and is either a liar or an idiot. If they throw the word traitor in the conversation, they have completely disregarded their own oath to the Constitution and should be regarded accordingly.
