Exactly how entrenched into our tribes are we? Pretty well entrenched. In my mind, this more than anything shows the impact of the bifurcation of our media intake.

Sadly, we can't trust polls anymore than we trust the news or the newsmakers. I can't help but pine for the days when we trusted our journalists. Imagine how much better off we would be if we now could trust them.

Most Americans rely on the media or pop culture icons to formulate their opinions. They can't be bothered with researching facts.

So some Americans believe anything the media tells them and some are skeptical. Not a new revelation.

I don’t think there’s much skepticism to go around. It’s just absurdly easy to block out any information you don’t like and to find stuff you do.
