PO3 (Join to see) I will be printing and annotating this paper a little later. That said I have scanned and stopped at points to read the paper. Very enlightening.
Everyone on RP should read it. It has great importance in 2020 and very American from 8 to 80 should read and understand this document. It forms the basis for a great number of things. But, I am not going to comment further until a more detailed reading. That said, the
"7.4 Conclusion
In this thesis, we shed some light into the complex Web information ecosystem through the lens of multiple Web communities. Our work reveals the need to take a cross-platform view of the information ecosystem as there are a lot of Web communities that despite their small size are particularly Influential and can have real-world impact. Also, it indicates the need to develop sophisticated tools and techniques to detect the spread of information across the Web by considering the diverse types of information (i.e., text, images, and URLs). We argue that the aforementioned are of paramount importance for getting a more representative view of the information ecosystem, hence helping in better understanding this ecosystem as a whole."
Perhaps you might apply the conclusion above to the test. It would be interesting to see a website with each of candidates opinions in a cross-table for a give topic. I have looked for cross-reference websites that are "neutral" and they are very rare. I have always believe a reasonable and educated person takes in all information, good, bad and indifferent and makes an "educated" evaluation of the facts and then makes and stands-by their decision. Then when new information arrives to challenge their understanding they honestly evaluate and make a revised stand if warranted and the new data is untainted and fairly assessed.
