Air Force Veteran Sentenced for Fake PTSD, Purple Heart Claims

Another Joker claiming to have burdened the scars of battle. Be proud to have served in whatever capacity that you did. For those of us who have been awarded the Purple Heart, it means someone was wounded or killed besides yourself. Most of us would gladly return it to be whole again.

A someone who sees a lot of these claims, one thing stood out.
The guy's service records showed that he was an Air Force firefighter - fine and honorable service. But he only spent one month in-country? There is more to this story, and probably how VA tumbled onto this fraud. Not sure why those elements were omitted, but if my experience is a guide, there was a substance involved.
