It’s a waste of time. Trump supporters will ignore the obstruction and coordination yet claim Trump didn’t get a fair trial. Trump hating Democrats will continue to be themselves. Facts are clear whether it called for impeachment or not the actions by the White House were an abuse of authority, the obstruction of witnesses and documented evidence of the “perfect call” is obvious, and the collaboration between McConnell and White House is no different than the partisan behavior of the House Dems. Those that say this president had the authority to block congressional authorized aid without notifying Congress best not complain when future presidents use this as precedent as executive authority to block anything Congress approves and then lies about it.

So, none of the Trump supporters on RP is the least bity worried by the fact that McConnel and Graham have publicly stated they intend to violate the oath they will take before the trial to be impartial?

Just curious, but the democrat senators who are currently running for Trump's seat, do you see an issue with them being jurists in an impeachment trial considering they have something to gain from ousting a duly elected president?

MSG Stan Hutchison - Ain't nobody setting the rules to my knowledge.
No impeachment to work on, and both houses stand in recess.
Senate rules are set by majority vote, just as they always have and just as the House just did.
As discussed many times before on other threads, crying about "fairness" is not an effective defense of one's actions.

You mean like the 'impartial' vote in the House?

I predict the Senate impeachment hearing will be very interesting because the Republicans will circle the wagons around Trump regardless of the circumstances. What will the perception of the Republican party be after the hearing?

Won’t be any change at all. Corruption is strong from Congress to White House and both sides will continue to point fingers while ignoring Americans and legal residents that continue to struggle. Stock market this, DOW that; none of it helps millions of low/middle income workers that don’t have stock investments. Yep. Nothing will change. Everyone loves their “love/hate Trump” blinders.
