I disagree with the One nation under god. We are one nation under no gods and many gods. The phrase "under god" wasnt added until 1954 by the Eisenhower administration which was purely reactionary due to the red scare and should never have happened. For 20 years I have served for the right of americans to sit, stand, kneel, walk, eat, sleep, or do whatever they want during the anthem. That is what being free is all about. As an Athiest I dont get mad when someone says we are one nation under Shiva I just think they are wrong.

There is no evidence that there is a god for this nation to be under, but you're correct on the one life part. There's only one life that we know of, and no evidence of an afterlife.
