This is a pretty objective, non-partisan article on the current impeachment dilemma. It dives into all the legal issues on both sides so for me it was very interesting read. Others might be bored with it. I thought I would post since non-partisan reviews of what is going on in Congress are not all that easy to find these days.

First thing you need to know is the Lawfare is far from being Non-partisan. Just as an example, the former AG Eric Holder refused to provide documents and was found in Contempt of Congress, and since he was the AG, he didn't indict himself. The issue on the obstruction charge is that the real final arbitrator is Supreme Court and these cases have not reached that level yet. While he offers a number of Court of Appeals verdicts as support for his arguments, he also neglects to mention that the Supreme Court overturns 70% of the cases it hears from all Appeals Courts since 2010 and 79% of those in the 9th Court of Appeals.

Did you read what I said or READ INTO what I said? I will repeat myself, non-partisan article. Also if you clicked the ABOUT button at the top of the page they explain how they selected the term lawfare for the blog. Could care less about the blog itself, I was commenting on the article and stand by my original position that it is non partisan. Written by an author that served in the Office of Legal Counsel under President Obama.
