The headline and video tag lines are misleading. The portion of the wall that came down is currently under construction and was sitting in uncured concrete. It was not a completed portion of the wall.

Some folks have no interest in reading the story they post because the headline suites them. The media knows this, that is why they write headlines like this. The story, on its face, makes no sense and when you dig a bit and get the entire story it all comes together. Some people are headline readers only.

Having fun is a bit difficult if you don't emote the language you use. It's easy to see when you are debating face to face : )

It's not a waste, walls do actually work and our national reputation isn't getting hurt by anyone who matters. We have a right to protect our borders and politicians on the other sides are doing way too much to prevent improved border security and immigration policy.

Your perception of the symbolic nature of this wall is different than mine. While a wall by itself does not solve the illegal crossing problems, it absolutely symbolizes to me and many other Americans and would be illegal crossers that we have someone in the White House who is serious about taking on this problem.

It was recently reported border patrol just found the longest border tunnel ever this week. Why would they dig such tunnels if walls are so useless?

Capt Dwayne Conyers -Dwayne: The wall was literally just put up into concrete when Extra STRONG winds kicked up nearly at the same time and blew the wall which fell upon or up against some trees. It could have happened in any situation. Don't make it seem like it is some terrible thing. It's not BAD Contractors .....it was a "just right situation." It is not a waste of money, it is something that has been needed for a VERY LONG time...and if you took the time and did an internet search, you will find at least 12 videos of OBAMA stating something needed to be done and that too many people were coming here illegally...and STATISTICS SHOW/PROVE that OBAMA DEPORTED MORE ILLEGAL ALIENS than any other president. SO, WHAT IS YOUR POINT??? Maj Kevin "Mac" McLaughlin

Having armed guards in jeeps and/or motorbikes (fuel or electric) patrolling the area PUTS PEOPLE TO WORK which strengthens the economy. But, I suppose that doesn’t matter…
