Crew members aboard one of the Navy's newest combat ships have a special message this weekend: Go Chiefs!
The USS Kansas City was christened in 2018. It's described as a high-speed, shallow draft multimission ship. It's 418 feet long and supports a core crew of 40 sailors.

Those sailors and Cmdr. Travis Dvorak have a message for their namesake city, which was shared as a message to the group's Facebook pag"e: Good Luck on Sunday and GO CHIEFS!"

CPL Dave Hoover From what I have read, it seems our surface ships look more like submarine. Yes. I know it is a stretch. As a former submariner, the new profile of our surface ships come close.
