Meyersdale resident known as First U.S. Navy SEAL honored with bridge dedication

Harry Beal is a Meyersdale resident, but more importantly, he is known as the nation's first U.S. Navy SEAL.

He spent 20 years in the Navy, and his hometown decided to honor his memory for years to come.

Meyersdale resident and fellow Navy man Justyn Patton was the driving force behind getting a bridge in Meyersdale named after Beal.
