A lot can be gleaned from silent gestures. Anchor points, grooming and more. However the feet are a good source at determining an individual's prevarication. If a man's foot comes off the ground and they begin to shake it or move it around - they just become uncomfortable however the opposite is true for women. Women tense up when uncomfortable. I feel this might explain the apothegm - dancing around the truth at least for men.
