I have read we destroyed Iraqi munitions. I wonder how controlled that process was, and did it put our soldiers at risk?

It was controlled... Make a big pile, wire it up, giggle maniacally, and watch it go boom. Rinse, repeat. Basically EOD heaven.
Tallil in 2003 was consistently loud.

My concern is was it controlled enough? There are very few perfectly closed systems when dealing the variables associated with nature. The oil companies claim that fracking is a closed system, but is it really?
