What the GOP and Fox will not say is many of the leading economic indicators were in a upward slope during Obama's tenure. The GDP growth under Trump is barely higher than Obama's and is probably under the historic GDP growth rate average for the country.

Giving large tax breaks to corporations did not impact the GDP growth rate much. It's all fun and games until the government starts looking at squeezing programs like Social Security to attempt to minimize deficit spending while giving corporations good tax breaks.
