The saving grace with AK's is no matter how dirty they are they still function. I own a Romainian Wasar 10. There has been a lot of negative feedback on the Romanian rifles. I bought mine new in the box in 2013 for $350. It came with 2 30 round clips, 1 bayonet, and sling. I have put over 3000 rounds thru it without a hickup. Most of the ammo was Russian Steel cased from Tula Ammo. Its non corrosive Berdan primed made in Russia. At less then $10 a box of 40 cartridges I'm able to stock pile a lot of ammo. Over the last 7 years I've accumulated a round or two. Since my eyes got old (75) I've added a scope. After each use I do take time and clean it. Not that I have too, but because I enjoy it. Same goes for my many handguns and other rifles and shotguns. Lets face it I enjoy shooting. Because I live in the country and have my own shooting range its just a matter of when i get the urge to shoot something.

LTC (Join to see) - Wow I just tried to do a search and everyone is out of stock. The cheapest was close to $700. and no one had any available. The best bet would be to try going to gun shows and see if you can find one there.

CW5 Jack Cardwell - Makes it nice not having to put up with other shooters and waiting for the range to clear to check your targets.

TSgt George Rodriguez I’m good. I was lucky and purchased one probably 20 years ago now. I added all new hardware, collapsible stock, replaced bolt charging handle with a larger one and added a red dot scow. Thing is a mail driver. I’d like to learn how to put a homemade can on it next.

Sounds like you built yourself a weapon to suit all your needs. Good luck in adding a can to it. The threading is already there just remember its opposite threading instead of righty tighty, lefty loosey its opposite lefty tighty, righty loosey.
