APOD: 2020 April 15 - A Cosmic Triangle

Good morning, Rallypoint. Today's Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD) is titled "A Cosmic Triangle." This composite photograph captures the Moon (left), Pleiades (upper), and Venus (right) via a series of exposures taken from the same camera over the last month near Avonlea in Saskatchewan (Canada). Venus moved through the Pleiades before Easter, and will do so again in eight years (2028). The Waning Moon joined Mars, Saturn, and Jupiter in the southeast this morning just before sunup (~5AM EDT). Mars, Saturn, and Jupiter will not appear together again for another 793 years (2813).
