THIS IS A MUST READ. I WARN THAT YOU MIGHT TEAR UP.

This article describes the adoption of 8,000 US graves in the Netherlands by families. Sometimes the families will lay flowers, or visit on the deceased birthday, or in ceremonies. They love our boys and show an immense amount of gratitude for the sacrifices made. The feelings and memories are institutionalized and has become part of the culture. The Dutch say that our deceased boys were the founding fathers of their freedom. So know this, in the cemetery that is surround by verdant orchards, every single one of our boys has been adopted with love.
