Makes it very difficult for anyone to defend Flynn . The fake news defense won’t work with what is in the transcripts not even for trump .

I am not surprised.
I would fully expect the incoming NSA days away from taking office to have such conversations where during introductions, the interests of the foreign representative come up. Pretty sure this has happened every time administrations change.
