I would prefer we not get involved in local situations however, we cannot stand by and allow our cities to become Afghanistan where civilians take their lives in their hands walking on the streets

Lt Col Charlie Brown We've had all kinds of riots in the history of the US. Given their size, they don't seem to be particularly violent and the violence appears to be winding down. Why would we now take the drastic action of pulling in troops and destroy the hard won respect and trust of the public in the military?

I find it ironic that those who are constantly attacking the media as biased and publishers of fake news are now using those very same media to support the idea that our streets are running with blood and we have to bring in more force.
There are far, far, FAR more peaceful protestors than there are violent and looters. Let s keep this in perspective. Noting has happened as of now to warrant bringing in the US Military.
Not even for Trump to have a photo-op for his supporters.
