That will be struck down. Why do they want to legislate faith?

PO1 H Gene Lawrence - We have the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at the public school where I teach. They meet before or after school, and not during class time. That way each student has a full school day.

SGT (Join to see) - and that's appropriate, the students can join if they want, or not, and it doesn't affect their education.

If they receive any govt funding that is indirectly sponsoring Religion on the public dime. Separation of Church and State is boiler plate. Private schools can do as they choose.

Oh, boy. I guess there isn’t enough time in the year for kids to go to church on their own? Kids should be learning critical thinking skills, and it is bad enough they aren’t able to learn them on normal basis. I wonder how many people will be upset when kids go to satanic churches, pagan churches, or even Muslim temples.

It certainly won’t hurt students to devote some time to something constructive and of good will.
