Despite the huge outbreaks of COVID-19 in nursing homes, the federal agency that regulates them has failed to distribute much of the money it received under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act, according to two members of Congress.

It's criminal and it's not getting any better. I believe the latest numbers showed 50,000 deaths came from long term care facilities.

I don’t know where the malfunction is. When funds are distributed the recipients give requirements to the fund custodians. There should be a meeting of the minds to determine the validity of the funds that are requested. Once valid requirements are established, funding should be expedient. It is this step that Trump ran afoul with for the Ukraine funds.
