Holy Jesus that article was trash.
First of all, we don't know that Chauvin is a racist - he might well be, but we won't know that until the trial, probably. He committed a heinous crime, but there is some evidence that he knew George Floyd from a nightclub they both worked at, making this at least as likely that this was personal, not racial in nature.
Secondly, I don't even know where to start with this interracial marriage trope. That might have been one of the most racist pieces I've read in a mainstream piece of journalism.
People in such a marriage (like me) hear about it. We get the stares. We get the people assuming my beautiful wife is "the help". But I know I married her because she is a fascinating person - something I'll gladly explain to any interrogatuer.
It is 2020, for Christ's sake.
Grow up.
And stow this "microaggression" bullshit.

why does MSN think that revealing her racial status make her more of a victim and the other guy more of a monster... We all know Chauvin was a monster... he posed on the guy neck like he caught a trophy buck... of course he is a monster....
