Extra Cash for Low-Income Military Families, 3% Pay Raise in House Proposal

Child care is a big issue for many families. We definitely need more access...and longer hours.

Many people don't know their is a military program to pay extra money for families under the poverty line.

Always good to take care of the troops, but doesn't the military incentivize marriage enough already? How many times have you heard about young troops rushing into poor marriages and making bad choices just to get out of the barracks? And what of the military members of the same pay grade that choose not to get married and start a family. Are their contributions somehow worth less than those that get married?
