The law was followed 100%. A commutation is part of the legal process. Can you at least be honest about the law, a profession you are supposed to be in? You may not like it but which law was broken? Which legal process was not followed?
We have serious felons being let out of prison due to COVID 19 but you seem to think we should send Stone into the big house.

Where did I say that Trump did not have the authority? Or that the law was not followed?
Skippy, when your own AG tells you not to commute the sentence of your buddy who helped you with the Russians and with witness intimidation, because it will send the wrong message on the rule of law, perhaps Bunkerboy should have listened.

Attorney General Barr told Trump he shouldn't grant Roger Stone clemency
Barr had previously said that Roger Stone's prosecution was "righteous" and the sentence was fair, and defended his decision to oppose a stricter sentence for Stone.

The President commuted Stone's sentence. Did not change his guilt. Prisoners all over the country are being let of jail for doing far worse crimes. And, compared to pardons and commutations issued by Pres. Clinton or Obama, Pres Trump is far more transparent in his reasoning.
