“From my observation, those demonstrators — our fellow American citizens — were engaged in the peaceful expression of their First Amendment rights. Yet they were subjected to an unprovoked escalation and excessive use of force.” Adam DeMarco, MAJ, DCARNG

That pretty much says it all.

Yep, and clearly we will see more federal aggression and violence heaped on even the many peaceful demonstrators. POTUS does whatever it takes to please his most ardent base of voters.

Keep in mind that was the scene of several attacks on Secret Service Agents and firebombing that same church just hours earlier.

1SG (Join to see) - I watched two Annapolis grads, doing nothing more than standing there peacefully, get violently beaten to the point that bones were broken and surgery will be needed. That's not "grow[ing] a pair", that both abusive and criminal, under both state and federal standards.

Capt Gregory Prickett - They didn't see a wall of riot shields headed their way, no doubt yelling for them to disperse? Like I said earlier, standing your ground on principle can be courageous, but it is likely that you're going to get hurt for your inability to obey the orders of an officer.

1SG (Join to see) - since the line of police weren't moving, and weren't holding shields, and weren't telling people to move, no, they didn't. They were standing there, and three police approached and started to beat them with batons. That's assault and far more force than was reasonable under the facts then present. If they were given an order to disperse, and that's very questionable, the use of force was still over the top. The police can no more beat someone like that than they can just put a bullet in their head for not complying.

Capt Gregory Prickett - Police approaching with batons out = time to go.
I don't think it is that hard.
