They are both Shitheads. They really do not have any real central command. Black lives matter, SDS and the weather underground have similar anger like the black panthers to be destructive. I guess we won't know for sure unless we have compelling evidence positively identifying the agents and criminals. Who was charged with the target arson? How are you certain it wasn't Hell's angels? Is there evidence of that?

1SG (Join to see) - I live less than 500m from this Autozone. It is a frequent target for thieves and looters. Not sure why there and not so much the NAPA down Lake Street, but whatever.
I am very aware of the events of late May and early June.
The short version is that the MPD was AWOL, and when people realized that enforcement was not forthcoming, they went wild and took the opportunity to loot and burn. For four days this went on unabated, until Minneapolis and Governor Walz figured it out and quelled the rioting.
Folks tried similar things in greener pastures in the suburbs, but were thwarted by more assertive law enforcement. For weeks, you could drive the highways in the twin cities and see vehicles with no license plates full of stuff.
I would submit to you that most of the arson and looting done in the initial phases of protests were done by local opportunists. What is going on now though is something else entirely.
