I suspect the President is correct on this one. A depressed economy benefits no one, but favors the Democratic Party

Florida and Texas rushed to open up, and now they are paying the price for those actions with dramatic increases in infections, hospitalizations, and deaths. The virus is not a political thing....it is a health thing.....and you can't beat it with political maneuvering. If you listen to politicians, rather than health experts, you place yourself and everyone around you, at risk.

SSgt William Quinn probably a lot of truth in that. When you open up, you draw crowds. You draw crowds, you get spikes in your cases. Interestingly, those states don't want people from Florida to come there now.
