Manafort was ‘grave counterintelligence threat’ due to Russian contacts, Senate panel says

I'm sure everyone wants to spin the Senate bipartisan intelligence report. It's pretty long so I doubt everyone will read the source document. This should be the key take away, what happened during the 2016 Trump campaign for president was not normal, nor should we allow it to become normal.

When we look at what he was impeached for, did he do it? Of course he did, it is completely consistent with everything we know about him and what he did in the 2016 campaign. The Republicans just didn't care. This is not normal, this is dangerous. There is nothing new here, but the committee pretty soundly rejected all the spin from the POTUS on these events.

BTW, the Steele report probably didn't help much. Some things were true in there, but there was enough things that were not to give people who want to doubt something to hang their hat on.
