Pentagon Prepares To Slash BILLIONS From Military Healthcare Program

The United States does a really poor job of taking care of our veterans, and the Pentagon is actively trying to make it even worse. In spite of the fact that they just got their yearly budget of $740 billion, the Pentagon is trying to decide whether healthcare for the military is actually worth it, and they may cut a couple billion dollars from the healthcare budget for our troops and veterans. My family has generations who have serve this country. None of my kid's generation is serving or going to serve. My daughter wants to go in after she finishes college and I have discouraged her from it. Serving our country is the best decision I ever made but this lack of loyalty to those who serve is BS and at the rate they are going, there will be no benefits by the time my daughter would retire. I am 100% disable service connected and should not have to fight so hard for my benefits.

Perhaps on a + note, Trump indicates that he opposes these cuts. One of my 4 clinical projects on ResearchGate is dedicated to advocating for efficacious care to active and former military. My research is now being viewed across the world. This project is my top priority!
