The onscreen chemistry and off screen romance began with the 1944 movie, To Have and Have Not. The love banter on the silver screen between those two is literally palpable and still sizzles, even today!

To Have and Have Not, one of my fave old time movies. (Btw, this was when Bogart, 43, first met his next wife, BaCall, 19. They would remain married till his death at 57.)
