Minnesota: Officially a Battleground

No, there is definitely a shift in the mindset of many in the state. In MN the Democrat party is the DFL (Democrat Farmer-Labor) party. The farmers and laborers don't like the push to the far left and many are shifting their vote to Republican. The farmers especially are at heart quite conservative but have voted Democrat based on financial views. They are shifting because they don't like the far left social agendas being pushed down their throats. Many are also shifting to the right because of what they see happening in Minneapolis and what happens under a far left leaning Mayor and Governor.

I'm not saying the Republicans will win the state. Minneapolis has an extremely large population compared to the rest of the state and many will still vote democrat but to think there is not a shift statewide to the right is just being blind.

LCDR Keith Trepanier - There have been a series of polls in Minnesota and the consensus is Biden by 5.3%, with the outlier being the Trafalger Group at even. I'll also point out that the Trafalger Group manipulates the data after they collect it, in a process which adjusts its polls for a "social desirability" effect, and which, with its data sampling process, skews the results to the right.

You can rely on the polls all you would like. I live in rural Minnesota, work in the metro areas and I see the change every day. I have never heard some of the things I now hear from people I know to normally fall on the left side of the fence. They are moving to the republican side.
