The estimate is that 400,000 riders attending Sturgis this year. 260 cases seems like an acceptable risk, IMH.

So let’s do the math, shall we. 500,000 attendees, 260 +. One ?attributable? death of a 63 y.o. male. Anyone know any 60+ person without an underlying condition of some kind? That aside. 260/500,000 = 0.05%+. 1/260= 0.38% of + fatality. So 99.95% are -. And of + 99.62% survive. Why not focus on those numbers? Those are big wins. Shows people can and are being responsible for our fellow Americans, motorcycle brothers and sisters, families, and ourselves. We don’t want or need a nanny. Just my $0.02.

Careful. I am 61, and doing all I can do to stay healthy. That being said, the numbers are below minimal.

I too am 61, underlying condition, and am a survivor of C19. No worse the a bad flu. Spent a week in bed. Same as any other flu I had. Politi-flu IMHO. LT Michael Watson
