Very good article. I can see the arguments from both sides, but personally, I would rather be underemployed than unemployed.

PO1 Tony Holland Underemployed. I Understand the Concept. Once You're Over 40 They don't want you as a "Technician" You get to try Something Else. Usually Not Paying as Well. Nature of the Technical World I Guess.
