Thank you for the daily motivational Sir. Constructive I feel means to build up someone. Some feel you must be torn down first, I an not sure that is always the case. Stay safe and vigilant brother Mikel. Big day gun show, and gun raffle this evening to support Wellsville Fire dept. my friend.

SSG Michael Noll - Thanks for the great response...

"It all comes down to delivery and how you present and communicate constructive criticism and then it comes down to how it is received by the recipient... both need to be respectfully communicated and received in order for the true message to be understood. We can't wear our feelings on our sleeve, we need to carefully read the meaning and we need to respectfully communicate the message. May you use constructive feedback in a way that helps you with life, leadership, and your goals whatever they may be; may you always receive that feedback with a positive attitude; may you continue to take the best care of yourself; and keep your family safe, secure, happy, and healthy during these uncertain times in our country's history. Feedback is critical to growing and learning. Keep an open mind." — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Great Saturday Morning Burroughs' Posse Leader from what looks to be a beautiful Day here in the Boston Area... I am almost done with re-configuring my home Internet Network and now can download at between 750 bytes/sec & 1 Gbyte/sec... Uploads capped by the provider at 20 Mbytes/sec. Still a few problems to resolve though...so will be on & off RP all day... I will participate in today's quote topic before I shut down to work on it... BTW, belated Happy Birthday, Mikel!

My Personal Quote:
"There is "Constructive Criticism" in two modes: Positive and Negative. Why is that? It is all criticism, meant to help, not hinder. In my view, the negative aspect is how the criticism is given...and that type of criticism is destructive. On the other hand if criticism is given in a positive way, then it will be absorbed and put into practice... It is really all about the attitude of the person giving the criticism. Choose who, how, and what you believe will help you the most and do it. " Kerry F. Harkins, October 24, 2020

“Constructive Day!” Why Not?

1) "You have to lift a person up before you can really put them in their place.” - Criss Jami

2) "True leaders don't give consoling answers, they take constructive actions.” - Amit Kalantri

3) "My mission is to be a positive, uplifting, constructive, and healing influence in the lives of those I touch.” - Laurie Buchanan, PhD

4) "Every human being is entitled to courtesy and consideration. Constructive criticism is not only to be expected but sought." - Margaret Chase Smith

5) "I have yet to find the man, however exalted his station, who did not do better work and put forth greater effort under a spirit of approval than under a spirit of criticism." - Charles R. Schwab

6) "The trouble with most of us is that we would rather be ruined by praise than saved by criticism." - Norman Vincent Peale

Be wise, be positive and remember...

“Leaders that allow room for constructive criticism will improve their leadership skills and gain valuable information, while giving the team an opening to provide feedback and voice opinions.” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

I hope that you consistently demonstrate constructive criticism to your family especially immediate family members. I expect that you are mature enough to absorb destructive and misinformed criticism from those closest to you, my brother-in-Christ Sgt (Join to see).

I pray that YOU and I demonstrate respect to each person we interact with or speak about and work to diffuse tense situations in this SARS-CoV-2 risk season and election season. Remember that the soul of each human being is created in an imperfect image of the LORD. ‘Pay to all what is owed to them: revenue to whom revenue is owed, respect to whom respect is owed, honor to whom honor is owed.
I pray for respect for individuals across political divides. Let YOUR Love and Light shine through us who are YOURS to break down partisan barriers, faith barriers and all other human barriers.
I lift the leaders of this nation, UK, Australia, India, New Zealand, Philippines, Japan, Korea, Sudan, Israel., Europe, Canada, and Mexico. I pray that each leader demonstrates respect for their constituents and can accept criticism – constructive or other.
I pray that you and your family members sleep well Saturday night and will awake refreshed and healthy on Sunday morning.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ
