An also regardless of whatever happens give the youth a reason to loot they'll loot anything. Hell even when the eagles won the super bowl back in 2018 people were looting stars while others were celebrating they just dont care. Youth of this country will be the problem for it. Corporal punishment is no longer allowed, spanks are no longer allowed. I remember growing up if I ever did something to get hit with the belt my mother hit me across the ass with one. If your raised to not respect the law, your elders, people ect you will turn out bad. Justice no longer is justice. It must become social in the eyes of my generation an those under me.

PFC (Join to see) You are stating the crime and violence comes from the citizens which was my point of the article. Cops shouldn’t be blamed for rioters, assaults, pillaging during riots. NO city or village should allow mobs or out of control people, any color, to assault or burn cop cruisers or other vehicles. No EXCUSE.

Because they shot an African american man, he merely had a nice if the officers out numbered him killing the man was unnecessary. They could have taken the knife from him tasered him or maced him. I live in Philadelphia an gun violence is at an all time high we've lost between 340- 345 thus far this year. Communities are asking for ways to reduce the gun violence regardless of ethnicity we are all sick or this. Mayor Kenney, Da Krauser an police commissioner outlaw are doing nothing.

Sgt Jordan Foster - You won’t accept what I’m saying so this is my last response to you: The Dem leaders are at fault, absolutely. Dem leaders have a lot they could do to regain order in their cities and states but they pander to the activist groups and do NOT want Pres Trump to get involved in their city problems. They cry if he brings it up, so he lets them run their own territory.
That’s why I am blaming Dem leaders. We will see who Americans want come Election2020.

Sgt Jordan Foster - I looked it up. I'd like to make sure we are speaking of the same event. Are you referring to the protests in late may and early June of this year? Or protests from different dates?

That’s the time frame. Police were nowhere to be found until after the protest organizer told everybody to go home. Organized protest are different than unorganized purges. Maj John Bell

This story from the Springfield Journal Register gives a reasonably thorough run down of the distribution of police forces. If you were there, is it possible that you missed the police presence or that police agreed to maintain their distance as long as the protest remained on a designated path and stopped at a designated area. It appears that the trouble occurred later when protestors strayed into areas that were previously denied them, then started to attempt some looting.
