That would be a fun cruise? I was also wondering why the volunteers aren’t considered passengers. But hey, if they need volunteers to play passenger, book me in a premium cabin.

Is the manager PT Barnum? The crew can ZOOM all the sights one would see if they were on board...

I've read other articles that address this. Cruise lines must meet CDC "protective" measures and sanitary standards (ya' know because they just give out passenger-carrying licenses upon request) before tourists can be accommodated. So I guess they have to emplace all these "safety" measures and prove they can sail under these conditions before they can take tourists aboard.
I'm guessing we're going to see the same stupid plexiglass barriers everywhere, deck crews masked and face-shielded, and tourists required to wear masks 24x7 aboard ship. I have been on several cruises, and like them a lot. However, I will not go on a cruise where I have to be masked, and the "safety theater" is in effect. Half the reason you go on cruises is for the buffets! How stupid will you look coming back from your cruise with a surgical mask tanline?
