I'm all for equal justice. But in "Officers" cases like these, a messages needs to be sent, and they should be punished to the fullest extent of the law/UCMJ for the greater good of ALL the services/Branches.

Having been an active participant in a Special Courts Martial and seeing 1st hand how punishment is handed out with a heavy thumb on the scale for some and with a feather on others, yes your results may vary. Always has been always will be, human nature tends to influence many things.

They should have demoted him, taken pay, and discharged him. Regardless.

I hope so because this is WRONG on so many levels!!!!
