Trump could have stood on this guy's shoulders and taken credit for one of the most secure elections in history, but like the petulant child Trump is he will lash out because he lost. In this respect he represents his base to a tee.

SSG (Join to see) - I am sure you find the "abusive power" argument to be sissy, but then you are fortunate that it isn't happening to you. I wonder what you would be willing to do if your friends and family were being killed by people in power and shielded from accountability. Maybe you would just roll over and take it.

MSgt Steve Sweeney -Which "abuse power" are you talking about? Pretty sure the most prominent cases being talked about today resulted in a cop going to jail. I don't think ANY of what you are alluding to has anything to do with "rolling over and taking it". That's just a LAZY reply and a blatant blind-eye turn. Smashing up a Gamestop, destroying businesses (some black owned), and looting a Walmart is NEVER justified. If my "friends and family" were being killed I sure as heck wouldn't go to the nearest liquor store and loot it or encourage anyone else to. I was raised better than that.

I served this country for too long to agree that it was all "justified". But I'm sure your buddies that killed David Dorn are probably using the same excuses as you.

SSG (Join to see) - After a delay of 16 days for your reply, I had to go back to the beginning of the thread to remind myself what we were talking about. In doing so it occured to me that you, in true Trump supporter form, were simply deflecting to avoid talking about the original topic to focus on something you wanted to talk about. Also curious why you felt the need to put "some black owned" in parentheses. Tells me something about you. A lot of subtext there. What are you implying or insinuating with that statement? Why mention it? Were some "White owned"? What about "Indian owned" or "Mexican owned"? Do you have the full racial profile of "owners" handy?

I know that right-wing media keeps you focused on the "rioting". Have you ever asked yourself why they do that, or why you feel the need to bring it up on a thread about a cybersecurity official? Probably not. I doubt you are that self aware and rarely take time for reflection and self evaluation. As for rioting and looting, I do not fully condone it, but I do understand it. I also understand that you cannot relate to why people would do such a thing. Likely not your fault. Also, I fully understand that you do not have the means to look at the issue from any side but your own.

In any event, it is a tiresome conversation and I find you lack the mental clarity and capability to address the original issue, so I am opting out. Good luck to you.

MSgt Steve Sweeney - Hey, you are trying to slam Trump and I countered by letting you know it wasn't him and the republicans trying to burn down America. I mentioned some of these black owned businesses were black owned to prove how ridiculous your whole premise was and how false the whole movement is. It also proves nothing got accomplished. "why the would do such a thing"?? They are complete idiots that used a false movement to get free stuff. I have no problem with protesting but YOUR friends and family that decide to smash a T-Mobile shop deserve to be jailed. Luckily some were caught and jailed.

They riot because THEY LOST in 2016 and didn't see any other viable option to vent their frustration. So just "tear it all down" was their solution. The silver lining with Biden winning is that riots didn't occur. The security company I worked for was able to stand down a bit since we knew the cry babies got what they wanted. For the time being anyways.

Most of the men an women around him have been some of the best in their fields over the last four years. He wants to appoint friends, family, people he knows he can trust the up most. What he wants may not always be what's right for the people. Hes been through more appointees than any other president in history. I feel like hes been running the government like one of his businesses which cant be done. He's done good things don't get me wrong but he's also done bad things every president has.

PFC (Join to see) - Trump did a kick a$$ job and helped out country a whole lot. Then.... China released a virus upon the world. And pretty much all countries suffered.
